Exciting Milestone for Heavy Oil Innovation in Oman!
The Ministry of Energy and Minerals of the Sultanate of Oman has signed a Feasibility Study Agreement with Westlawn and Salamander Solutions to explore the application of advanced electric heater technology for unlocking heavy crude reserves in Block 71.

This collaboration that grants us the rights to drill appraisal wells could pave the way for a long-term field development agreement, bringing cutting-edge solutions to one of the region’s most challenging reservoirs.

Proud to see our proprietary heater cables technology take center stage in Oman. Together with MEM, we’re driving innovation to maximize resource potential and shape the future of energy.
